We are looking for a hardworking and hands-on Shop Assistant to join our Public Works team!  If you are dependable, take pride in a job well done, and don't mind rolling up your sleeves when the job calls for it, this part-time gig is for you! What You’ll Be Doing
Pitching in with routine vehicle upkeep like oil and anti-freeze changes, tire repairs, tune-ups, and swapping out headlights and wipers.
Washing and detailing vehicles and equipment so they always look sharp on the road.
Transporting crucial tools, parts, and vehicles to and from different locations.
Keeping our shop looking pristine by sweeping, emptying trash, and tackling general clean-up.
Assisting with snow removal and providing support to the other Public Works teams, as needed.
What You Bring to the Table
High school diploma or GED (or relevant hands-on work experience that proves you know your way around tools).
A valid driver’s license. Â
A working knowledge of basic mechanical preventative maintenance and familiarity with building & grounds maintenance.
This is a part-time position working weekdays (M-F) between the hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Labor Day to Memorial Day). Â
