Join Our Team as an Educator & Program Assistant!

Do you love plants, people, and making learning fun? Join our Learning & Interpretation Team and help inspire visitors of all ages through hands-on experiences, tours, camps, story times, workshops, outreach programs, and family events.


What You'll Do

  • Lead engaging educational programs onsite and throughout the community
  • Share your love of plants through tours, activities, and learning stations
  • Create memorable experiences for kids, families, and lifelong learners
  • Help care for educational plant collections and prepare program materials
  • Work alongside an amazing team and enthusiastic volunteers


We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Loves teaching and connecting with people
  • Has a passion for plants, nature, or environmental education
  • Enjoys public speaking and hands-on learning
  • Is energetic, reliable, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed


Qualifications

Working toward or have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, museum studies, natural sciences, or a related field, plus at least one year of education or museum experience (internships count!)


Schedule

Part-time with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events are part of the adventure.
