Job Summary:

The Reel Technician I plays a vital role in repairing and maintaining high-quality reels for our customers. Communicate professionally with customers, management, and co-workers.   Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, must meet or exceed repair quotas.  

Job Level: 

Entry Level 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Troubleshoot fishing reels for repairs.
  • Perform thorough maintenance on reels. 
  • Repair reels with quality and efficiency with minimal to no re-work.
  • Meet or exceed reel repair quotas.
  • Respond to emails and voicemails in a timely manner for same-day turnarounds.
  • Maintain individual and departmental service levels and goals.
  • Identify and provide feedback on any non-conformities of the product being serviced.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with peers.
  • Mandatory overtime and weekends when required by management
  • Travel when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:  

  • Knowledge of AS400, JDE and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Fishing experience preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with small parts such as screws, gears and springs.
  • Ability to read schematics.

Education: 

High School or GED equivalent
