Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time - Site Access in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver clear, welcoming communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, vehicle lots, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by following established screening, badge issuance, key control, and vehicle access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
