Acadian Companies is currently seeking a candidate for the full-time position of Contract Support Specialist in the Risk Management Department. The Contract Support Specialist will perform specific duties related to Contracts, including but not limited to initial drafting, reviewing, obtaining approvals when applicable, and follow-up.
This position is located at the Kaliste Saloom location and reports directly to the Contracts Manager. This position does not offer remote or work from home options.Â
Duties and Responsibilities:Â
- Create initial draft of multiple types of contracts, amendments, and addendums as directed
- Review, interpret, and redline contracts based on specific needs/requests
- Interpret multiple contract templatesÂ
- Review, interpret and modify details in multiple agreement record types in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software
- Collaborate with Business Team Members in various departments/divisions
- Prepare contract related reports for administrative review
- Review team email inbox, respond appropriately, assign tasks
- Collaborate and assist in the development of CLM
- Maintain specific listing, files, etc of agreements for contracts outside of CLM
- Assist Contracts Manager, General Counsel and Associate Counsel(s) as requested
- Other responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications:Â
- High school education or equivalent; College degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in Contract processes
- Vendor Management knowledge and experience preferred
- Property Management knowledge and experience preferred
- Ability to understand and interpret common legal termsÂ
- Excellent Computer skills in Excel, Outlook and Google and Adobe Office Products
- Ability to learn other job-specific software applications, Salesforce Platform knowledge helpfulÂ
- Attention to detail; Problem-solving abilities; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communicationÂ
- Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently; Possess strong organizational skills
