About the Role:

Love Help Care Family Support LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and social outings
Administer medications and monitor health conditions per care plan guidelines
Foster independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals served
Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
