Position Purpose:Â Responsible for the legal operation of the Pharmacy, including all state and federal regulations governing the Pharmacy. Reports to Health Center Leadership on all matters related to the operations of the pharmacy and its associated programs and partnerships.

- Assists with recognizing the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework, and maintains constructive relationships in dealing with them
- Understands the Riggs CHC’s relationship with the community and maintains positive image and relationships
- Self-motivation
- Interprets Riggs CHC’s services and policies to patients and families as appropriate.
- Works independently in the absence of supervision
- Self-motivated and flexible to daily schedule and/or center needs
- Deals with public and staff, both in person and over the telephone, in tactful and professional manner.
Education & Qualifications:Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Three (3) or more years of relatable pharmacy experience
- Must be licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted license in the state of employmentÂ
- At least one (1) year of related pharmacy management experience, preferred
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and evenings if required
- Clean criminal record – with no felonies
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Ability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information
- Strong assessment and multi-tasking skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Satisfactory completion of medication course.
- Bilingual especially in Spanish is preferred.
- Pharmacy management software and computer competency required.
