Service Parts Buyer – Planning Administration

Procurement Management Department

 

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for cost analysis, supplier business relationships, and contract negotiations.  This role will be responsible for all legal contracts that will affect service parts or after market activity.

 

Outline of duties:

  • Lead Service Parts for Procurement
  • Service parts cost reduction
  • Analysis and negotiation of items affecting service part price (engineering, changes, supplier claims, etc.)
  • Daily activity and support for supplier quality, delivery, and regulation compliance related to service parts
  • Negotiation of end of life and last time buys
  • Establish service parts pricing agreement with all suppliers
  • Lead Procurement functions related to SBR service part sourcing & SBR model campaign activities
  • Standard service part contract negotiation/approval
  • Lead new model activities for Procurement related to Service
  • Legal negotiations/supply agreement
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field of study plus 1-3 years of relevant experience

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field of study
