Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients by reviewing their medical history 
  • Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician
  • Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures 
  • Document patient information utilizing electronic medical records
  • Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality 
  • Schedule surgeries, complete prior authorizations, and communicate with patients in the surgery plan 

Requirements & Skills

  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and computer skills
  • Display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community to build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Allscripts PM/EMR knowledge preferred

Employment Details
