Responsibilities
- Verify and update patient information in medical recordsÂ
- Take patient messages
- Prepare patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitalsÂ
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician
- Document patient information utilizing Electronic Medical Records
- Organize referrals, order laboratory and imaging studies for patients as neededÂ
- Perform additional administrative duties and projects as needed and instructedÂ
Requirements & Skills
- License(s): CMA, RMA, or CNA preferred (but not required)Â
- Medical office experience preferred (but not required)
- Previous patient scheduling experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills
- Must display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families
