Position Purpose:Ā ThisĀ Program Manager IIĀ will be providing leadership and supervision in a team environment, with frequent opportunities for customer engagement, new business development, concept design, mission formulation, system analysis, detailed design, analysis, integration, and test, plus orbit operations.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $155,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

On-site position at our Lafayette, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

  • SystemĀ designĀ balancingĀ performance,Ā emergingĀ technologies,Ā schedule,Ā risk,Ā andĀ costĀ 
  • Encourage, council, mentor, and lead program teams thru program evolution, milestones,Ā challenges,Ā and successes.Ā 
  • Prepare,Ā present, and manage for successful conclusionĀ majorĀ programĀ milestone reviewsĀ 
  • Manage /Ā performĀ tradeĀ studiesĀ balancing cost, schedule and technical requirementsĀ andĀ parametricĀ analysesĀ 
  • EvaluationĀ ofĀ existingĀ andĀ emergingĀ technologiesĀ 
  • Develop,Ā review,Ā andĀ negotiateĀ procurementĀ documentsĀ (specification,Ā SOW)Ā and manage subcontractsĀ 
  • WorkĀ closelyĀ withĀ customersĀ toĀ helpĀ refineĀ theirĀ needsĀ andĀ provideĀ innovativeĀ andĀ competitiveĀ solutionsĀ 
  • Support and help evolve the spacecraft andĀ componentĀ product line offeringsĀ 
  • GenerateĀ andĀ maintainĀ programĀ integratedĀ masterĀ scheduleĀ (IMS)Ā 
  • Generate andĀ maintainĀ program budgets and forecasts, includingĀ financial, technical, and schedule risk and opportunity positionsĀ 
  • ExecuteĀ flightĀ programsĀ thatĀ meetĀ technicalĀ andĀ costĀ obligationsĀ 
  • WorkĀ closelyĀ withĀ otherĀ contractors/teammates/partnersĀ inĀ meetingĀ customerĀ needsĀ 
  • CollaborateĀ closelyĀ withĀ technicalĀ programĀ leadsĀ andĀ diverseĀ domainĀ expertiseĀ

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
