They are responsible for inputting data into company’s material receipt system and required to complete physical inventory.     Essential Functions:                                                                                                                         Completes daily safety inspections Receives all non-ferrous material as it comes in Processes and separates all material as it is received Gleans material from the yard Maintains a clean and safe work environment that complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations   Identifies and treats non ferrous material accordingly Assists customers when needed Performs general up keep and provides basic security for the facility Completes monthly inventory routine Communicates with the office and ferrous yard on customer movement Completes physical inventory Inputs data into company’s material receipt system   Other Responsibilities:                                                                                                                     Other duties as assigned.   QualificationsEducation and Experience Required:                                                                                            High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.       Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:                                                                                   Can work independently and in a team environment Self-motivated and takes responsibility for own work; can manage interruptions Must perform all duties while meeting safety protocols Must have good communication skills Must be dependable Must have the ability to answer any questions and solve any complaints from the customer in a professional manner Must have good organization skills The ability to identify items that are ferrous and non-ferrous Displays an understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations     Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                                                  Previous experience in Metals Recycling, preferred   Work Environment:                                                                                                                           This position is located in an outdoor environment.  The ability to work in all weather elements is required.  If operating equipment, the position is in a controlled environment but if equipment needs repairs, exposure to weather elements present.  Overtime and weekend work will be required at times.
