Job Description:

Position Overview:

• Plan and perform arc and acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, silver soldering, and cutting on a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. 
• Fabricate various parts or tools from blueprints or design and make from a verbal description or rough sketch. 
• Maintain a stock of welding supplies and requisition when needed. 
• Assist in the installation and repair of equipment and systems as required. 
• Maintain a current state issued welding certificate. 
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment. 
• Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.

Requirements:      

• High School Diploma
• Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
