Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care delivery.
Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices.
Coordinate team meetings to optimize patient care plans.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
Collaborate with leadership to support strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives.
Manage resource allocation and clinical workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Facilitate communication between all departments.
Identify and address clinical risk factors to improve patient safety.
Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as instructed.
Administer medications and injections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
Maintain nursing stations and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
Exhibits a high degree of courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform X-Ray and EKGs
Assist Occupational Medicine staff with as needed.
Performs other related duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting. Must obtain and maintain BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Medical Assistant
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in clinical information systems and healthcare technology.
Demonstrated experience in team management and staff development.
Current professional registration and licensure as required.
Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Frequently required to walk, sit, and stand.
Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
Occasionally required to travel for training purposes and attend at least two community clinic events each year.
