Position Overview

Responsible for working with outside sales team to drive sales growth.  Proactively contact customers to obtain sales. Follow up on quotes to close and responsible for entering quotes and orders into the system. Update other applications on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Inside Sales: Timely response and coordination of activities between customer accounts, regional sales, service representative and all departments.
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions.
  • Customer Follow-up: Providing ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of the products or services being sold.

Specific Tasks

  • Obtains sales orders for aftermarket parts by working with Outside Sales.
  • Updates and maintains accurate CRM database files of all assigned accounts.
  • Prepares routine cost estimates as required and provides follow-up on principal cost requests.
  • Processes formal complaints, customer returns, and customer adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Actively assist with resolutions of accounts receivable problems.

Experience & Background

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience: Two years of comparable work experience in a related field (industrial parts)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM
