Job Summary: 

As a Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma, we have various positions available ranging from customer service, data entry, billing, and traditional pharmacy technician duties. Placement options will be discussed during an in-person interview.

Schedule Details 

• In-Person (Laguna Hills, CA) 
• 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner
• Verify prescription information and dosage
• Complete orders and refills under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License 
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently
• Reliable and dependable
• Positive and optimistic
• Attentive and detailed
• Must have open availability and willing to work weekends.  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working in a Pharmacy (entry level candidates welcome)
