VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time! Our primary care practice is located in the heart of the beautiful city of Laguna Niguel. As a four-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.
COMPENSATION : $ 24 - $ 28 / hr
SCHEDULE : Five days a week including Saturdays
LOCATION: 28892 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677
We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our amazing team where we focus on patient care and the client experience. Duties may include:
- Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring
- Surgery prep and Assisting
- Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs
- Patient Recovery
- Animal Restraint
- Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections
- Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids
- Venipuncture and IV Catheterization
- Technician Appointments
- Filling Prescriptions
- Diagnostic Radiographs
- Monitoring Hospitalized Patients
- Client Communication
