Senior Accountant – Systems & International Operations
Location: Redondo Beach, CA (Fulltime – Onsite)

About the Role
Exelint International Co. is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support and modernize our accounting and finance function. This role is designed for a strong full-cycle accountant who values ownership, systems, and accuracy, and who is comfortable operating in an automation-first accounting environment.

We are intentionally reducing manual, transactional accounting work through ERP workflows, system integrations, and AI-enabled tools. This role will focus on oversight, judgment, and financial clarity rather than data entry. The Senior Accountant will work closely with finance leadership and external CPA firms, support international subsidiaries, and help build scalable, audit-ready accounting operations.

This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear growth path toward Accounting Manager as part of planned succession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own core full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Maintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple legal entities, including international subsidiaries
  • Support multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidated reporting
  • Partner directly with external CPA and accounting firms on audits, tax filings, and financial statements
  • Leverage ERP tools (Oracle NetSuite preferred) to automate AP, AR, bank feeds, credit card activity, and reconciliations
  • Support and monitor integrated data flows between ERP, banking platforms, payment systems, and operational tools (including EDI or structured data feeds where applicable)
  • Review and validate system-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit defensibility
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial modeling, including variance analysis and cost review
  • Support cash management, working capital visibility, and liquidity tracking
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, data quality, and internal controls
  • Maintain clean documentation, schedules, and reconciliations to support audit readiness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4–8 years of progressive accounting experience in an operating company or public accounting environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to multi-entity and/or international accounting environments
  • Solid Excel skills (reconciliations, schedules, analysis)
  • Comfort owning deliverables independently and meeting close deadlines
  • Clear communicator with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Systems & Automation Mindset
This role operates in an environment where routine accounting tasks are increasingly handled through automation, system integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside modern tools and prefers process design and controls over manual transactional work.

Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • NetSuite OneWorld or multi-subsidiary experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based businesses
  • Familiarity with EDI, API-enabled integrations, or finance system implementations
  • CPA or progress toward CPA

Why This Role
  • Senior-level responsibility without excessive bureaucracy
  • Direct exposure to ERP optimization, automation, and international operations
  • Opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role over time as the company scales
  • Lean accounting team with meaningful ownership and visibility
  • Close partnership with finance leadership and external advisors
