Position Details

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kaʻanapali

Position: Line Cook

Shift Availability

• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

A minimum availability of three shifts per week is required.

Pay Rate

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

• Early access to earned wages through DailyPay
• Line Cooks receive additional earnings through a 2% kitchen service charge on guest food sales, adding up to an additional $6 per hour on top of base pay. These earnings are paid through payroll and included in overtime calculations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Maui Brewing Co. recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
• Ensure all food is prepared safely while following proper food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, rotation, and station setup.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver timely, high-quality meals during high-volume service.
• Monitor product quality and communicate inventory or equipment needs to kitchen leadership.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

• TB clearance is required upon hire for all restaurant employees working in food handling positions in the State of Hawaiʻi. If you do not currently have one, documentation and appointment information are available through the Hawaiʻi Department of Health.
