Maui Brewing Co. Kaʻanapali is looking to grow our Front of House team with a motivated, dependable Part-Time Barback. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about hospitality, craft beverages, and providing outstanding guest service.

Position Details

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kaʻanapali

Position: Part-Time Barback

Schedule:

• Mondays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Fridays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Sundays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Additional shifts may become available based on business needs.

Pay Rate

$15.75 per hour + tips

Key Responsibilities

• Restock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
• Support bartenders by preparing supplies and maintaining efficient service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, glassware, storage areas, and equipment.
• Change kegs and replenish inventory as needed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Ensure all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards are followed.
• Contribute to a welcoming, friendly, and efficient guest experience through teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess or be able to obtain a Maui County Bar Card.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
• Weekend availability is required.

Additional Information

• TB clearance is required upon hire for all restaurant employees working in food handling positions in the State of Hawaiʻi. If you do not currently have one, documentation and appointment information are available through the Hawaiʻi Department of Health.
