Corporate Recruiting & Benefits Specialist



Position Summary

The Corporate Recruiting & Benefits Specialist supports the Chief HR Officer in the oversight of recruitment and benefits administration across all company locations. This position works closely with facility HR Directors and leadership to ensure recruiting and benefit processes are completed accurately, timely, and consistently with company standards.



A key responsibility of this role is conducting routine hospital-level audits of recruiting and benefits processes, identifying discrepancies or areas of noncompliance, tracking corrective actions, and verifying that identified issues are resolved. The Specialist will also monitor key HR metrics and provide regular reporting to the Chief HR Officer.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruiting

  • Support recruitment efforts across all hospital locations, with emphasis on high-risk, difficult-to-fill, and leadership positions.
  • Monitor open positions, job postings, applicant activity, interviews, offers, hires, and aging vacancies.
  • Audit facility recruiting practices to ensure compliance with established corporate hiring processes.
  • Assist facilities with candidate sourcing, screening, recruiting campaigns, sponsored postings, referral programs, and hiring events.
  • Identify recruiting delays or areas of concern and work with facility HR Directors to develop corrective strategies.
  • Track recruiting metrics, expenditures, and effectiveness, including recruiting ROI.

Benefits

  • Support administration of medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary benefits, and retirement programs.
  • Assist with new-hire enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, Open Enrollment, and benefit corrections.
  • Audit benefit elections, eligibility dates, deductions, employer contributions, and enrollment accuracy.
  • Reconcile information between the HRIS, payroll, benefit enrollment systems, and vendor reports.
  • Coordinate with facility HR Directors, benefit vendors, and brokers to resolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.

Auditing & Reporting

  • Conduct scheduled hospital-level recruiting and benefits audits.
  • Document deficiencies, establish correction deadlines, and track issues through resolution.
  • Conduct follow-up reviews to verify corrective actions have been completed and sustained.
  • Escalate significant, repeated, or unresolved concerns to the Corporate HR Director.
  • Maintain corporate tracking tools and provide reports on recruiting performance, benefit accuracy, audit results, and outstanding corrective actions.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for additional training, process improvement, and standardization.



Qualifications

  • Previous Human Resources experience required; recruiting and/or benefits experience strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare or multi-location HR experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, auditing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.



Travel Requirements

This is a corporate, multi-facility position. Travel to hospital locations may be required for audits, recruitment initiatives, Open Enrollment, training, and other HR needs.
