Job Summary:

The Load Puller is responsible for preparing, packaging, and loading materials onto trucks for delivery. This role requires knowledge of building materials, safe loading/unloading procedures, forklift operation, and adherence to safety standards. The Load Puller also assists with yard duties, including maintaining cleanliness and helping customers with loading. Strong communication, teamwork, and courteous behavior are essential, along with basic equipment upkeep and maintenance log completion.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Basic reading and writing skills required.
2. Training and Experience: Forklift experience required; experience with building materials preferred.
3. Job Knowledge: Familiarity with safe driving practices and knowledge of building materials is a plus.
4. Physical Demands: Requires frequent heavy physical activity, including lifting, standing, walking, and working outdoors. Classified as constant heavy work with occasional extra heavy work. Work is performed in a non-air-conditioned environment.
