Job Description
The Full-Service Delivery Merchandiser Non CDL is a touch freight position and is responsible for delivering and/or merchandising our products to customer locations on designated routes. The Full-Service Delivery Merchandiser duties include delivering and merchandising our products to all assigned vending equipment in their territory.
What your day will look like:
- Follow all Full-Service processes, rules, and requirements not limited to the following:
- Service all scheduled vending machines on their daily assigned route to Company standards
- Assure that each vendor is maintained with proper brands, maximizing productivity for space to sales ratio
- Utilize handheld computer to generate accurate sales of each machine and record all money collectedÂ
- Accurate accounting for all daily money, cases, consignment, and unit transactions
- Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced
- Ensure neat, clean appearance of all Coca Cola Vending and brand partner’s equipment and product in assigned accounts
- Executes all merchandising standards on all machines
- Maintain the coin mech/change dispenser at every fill, adjust and clean mechanism to ensure proper working as needed
- Assist in soliciting new accounts and vendor locations to grow route
- Notify Full-Service Management of mechanical problems or change in account status, i.e. new ownership, account closed, power issue, competitor, etc.
- Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they arise
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Build strong relationships with customer base across assigned customers
- Returns all out-of-date products to plant for processing
- Completes end of day settlement and paperwork
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license required
- DOT Certification required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak EnglishÂ
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in fast-paced environment
- Less than high school education; or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack
- Ability to respond and resolve to any customer issues
- Ability to self-motivate and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
