Purpose of Job

Develop and commercialize innovative surfactant technologies by combining laboratory research, manufacturing support, and cross-functional leadership to deliver new products, solve complex technical challenges, drive business growth and build future technical and organizational leadership capabilities.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Develop and execute laboratory research to create, optimize, and scale specialty surfactant technologies.
  • Support world-scale manufacturing operations through process troubleshooting, technical expertise, and implementation of new products.
  • Lead commercialization activities by translating innovative chemistry into commercially successful products and growth opportunities.
  • Manage cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, marketing, sales, regulatory, product stewardship, and supply chain teams.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and future technology development while building expertise in surfactant and derivatization chemistry.

Formal Education

 

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (preferred) or other physical science. 

Working Experience

 

  • Ph.D. plus 1-2 years relevant experience is preferred

  • Strong foundation in organic chemistry and laboratory experimentation
  • Scientific curiosity, creativity and a passion for innovation
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to work on computerized laboratory/analytical equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and self-management skills
  • Goal-oriented with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and business acumen
