Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of Government Property throughout the acquisition and disposition process.
  • Provide direct logistics support to the E-6B aircraft Heavy Depot Line.
  • Coordinate with Navy Liaison Officers and Depot Contractors for the ordering, purchasing, and delivery of aircraft parts.
  • Coordinate with Vertex purchasing, expeditors, and leadership to ensure timely completion of all supply related documents.
  • Conduct receiving inspection to verify conformant parts are delivered to the customer.
  • Conduct packaging and shipping of aircraft parts to suppliers for repairs.
  • Provide daily parts status updates to the customer.
  • Participate in weekly E-6B updates to leadership.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work center in accordance with Government/Company policies and instructions.
  • Receive and ship Support Equipment and IMRL items as required.
  • Comply with all Company, Government and Contract Facility policies pertaining to site operations.
  • Process Military Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent OR four (4) years of direct related supply experience 
  • Must be customer oriented
  • Navy logistics experience preferred
  • Able to use automated information systems
  • Able to successfully communicate both orally and in writing
  • Must be eligible to qualify for and able to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
