The Revenue Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the In-Park Revenue Director and/or other leadership with a variety of administrative work, including order input, inventory tracking and reporting, and invoice/accounts payable processing as needed.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication abilities, technical competencies, and discretion.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Revenue Director with managing inventory, processing accounts payable, creating purchase orders, and overseeing invoicing duties, as needed
  • Utilize Workday technology to transfer inventory between Park locations to ensure accuracy of both inventory and sales revenue
  • Participate in physical inventory activities and assist with the preparation of accurate reports to reflect inventory levels
  • Conduct audits of cashiers throughout the park to ensure that all standard operating procedures and Payment Card Industry (PCI) practices are being followed
  • Prepare daily revenue and financial reports to track revenue, Cost of Sales (COS), and per caps, as requested
  • Analyze daily reports and logs for accuracy and completeness; proactively identify errors and make corrections to reports before submitting them to leadership
  • Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks and data entry
  • Develop competencies in Workday and Excel to ensure proper reporting and accurate documentation
  • All other duties assigned by leadership

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • 1+ years of previous administrative work experience recommended but not required
  • Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus but not required

Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements: 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Wisconsin Child Labor Laws
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines with accuracy and urgency
  • Ability to do basic arithmetic and understand basic spreadsheets
  • Ability to accurately account for tickets, coupons, and other controlled materials
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures related to the operation of cash/POS handling equipment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive revenue data
  • Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, and copier
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, while using a computer
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time throughout the workday
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more

Working Conditions:

  • This role will be primarily based in an office setting, with frequent interaction with other indoor or outdoor park locations
  • Some exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, pollen and other weather conditions
  • Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
