The Back Office Assistant - LVN is a licensed healthcare professional who performs non-invasive routine technical services under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner in the medical practice setting. Required experience includes previous experience or internship in a clinic or medical practice, with preferred experience in a back office medical practice or pediatric environment. Education required is graduation from a Licensed/Vocational Nursing Program. Specialized skills required include the ability to set goals and judge results according to high standards, advance care through new ideas and technology, promote teamwork, and exceed customer expectations. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Licensure required includes Basic Life Support (BLS) and Licensed Vocational Nurse – CA (LVN), with First Aid Certification preferred. The role involves light to moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and other physical activities. The work environment may include exposure to airborne communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, dust, extreme noise, temperatures, radiation, and uneven surfaces.
