Electrical Engineer, Design
Responsible for the design and integration of complex electronic test systems that are used for production test and characterization of semiconductor devices and modules. Participates in a broad range of tasks including working with cross-functional team to perform electronic circuit design/ PCB layout design and integration/ validation, production test verification, troubleshooting, and deployment setup/ support.

Responsibilities include:
- Participates in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive integration/ validation/ test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level
- Interfaces with system engineering team and Manufacturing to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time.
- Electrical design, including high speed digital circuit, analog circuit design, micro-computer, FPGA, power switching circuits.
- Electrical signal integrity/ Power integrity simulation and analysis.
- Collaborates with the mechanical and firmware design teams, to ensure proper integration and validation of systems.
- selection, participating in supplier design reviews, etc.
- Drive reliability and quality into the testing process of all units shipped to customers.
- Ensures that technical reviews occur in accordance with company processes
- Produce system specification and test acceptance documentation.
- Support factory testing activities as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience working as a team member in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical circuit design, PCB layout design/ PCB layout design process and rules, integration, and test of complex systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation devices, and expertise in using and integrating them into larger test systems.
- Prior experience in developing semiconductor production testers (ATEs) or characterization testers or system level testers is a huge plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing release process.
- Detailed knowledge of Acceptance Testing and/or System Testing procedures.
- Experience in a programing language such as C, C#, or Python a plus.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Onsite role at our Lake Forest, CA office.
