The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team (in terms of numbers of clients and pets), ensures good communication with associates and clients, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families. Responsibilities include actively recruiting new clients by promoting hospital services, routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity, providing professional, efficient and exceptional service, educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services, assisting incoming and outgoing clients with documentation, pet information, invoices, prescription dispensing, retail sales, and appointment scheduling, managing finances with accurate balances and proper procedures, conducting administrative functions, and other assigned duties. The role requires multi-tasking, strong communication skills, organizational ability, problem solving, client service skills, intellectual and mathematical ability, computer skills, and attitudes such as initiative, integrity, cooperativeness, flexibility, independence, and tolerance for stress. Special working conditions include ability to work at a computer for long periods, confidence around pets, ability to work weekends and evenings, physical requirements such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to pets and certain hazards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, minimum age 18 for radiography duties, one year related experience preferred, and medical background preferred. The position is part-time weekend days help. The pay range is $17.70 - $22.62 hourly, with specific rate based on experience, skill level, education, and location.
