Warehouse Assistant

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will be proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and who is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of the business.  

The Big Task

Supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving, checking, organizing and storing inventory, accurately pulling stock for technicians, maintaining stock levels and ensuring a smooth flow within the warehouse, often involving tasks like loading and unloading trucks and utilizing inventory management systems.

Key Sub Tasks

• Deliver parts and equipment to job sites/technicians
• Assist with truck replenishment process, material return process and purchase order process
  
• Assist with warehouse stocking
  
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of yard and warehouse
• Pull, label and stage material and equipment for jobs
• Opening/Closing warehouse
• Replenishing technicians daily
• Load/Unload equipment, materials and scrap from trucks
• Assist with scrap metal and units
  
• Collaborate with warehouse team

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must be able to lift in excess of 50lbs
• Must have ability to operate forklift
• Must have a valid state driver's license and meet insurability requirements
• You should have experience in supply chain functional, operations/inventory management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with store teams, finance team and upper management.
• Capable of learning on the fly with a focus on problem-solving.
