The position ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance. and continuous improvement of accountability processes. Serving as the primary accountability contact for the department, the Accountability & Operations Coordinator collaborates with instructional. operational. and student support staff to support departmental performance and student success. This position is contingent upon grant funding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as the Lead for Performance Accountability for the Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) Department. Leads grant performance accountability, performance monitoring, and compliance with applicable federal, state, institutional, and grant requirements. Serves as the department's primary point of contact with the Texas Workforce Commission regarding accountability, assessment, and student information systems. Coordinates student information systems, data management, and accountability processes to ensure accurate student records, data integrity, timely reporting, and compliance with departmental, institutional, and grant requirements. Monitors data quality, identifies discrepancies, and coordinates corrective actions to support accurate performance reporting. Leads assessment operations, including assessment scheduling, testing administration, proctor assignments, testing technology, and assessment security. Maintains required certifications, coordinates testing-related training, and ensures compliance with state testing requirements and established assessment procedures. Coordinates assessment processes and evaluates assessment results to support instructional placement, post-testing eligibility, GED readiness, and student progression in collaboration with instructional staff while ensuring compliance with grant and assessment requirements. Prepares accountability reports, monitoring documentation, performance analyses, and audit materials. Reviews accountability data, identifies trends and improvement opportunities, and collaborates with departmental staff to strengthen accountability systems, operational effectiveness, and grant performance. Provides functional leadership, technical guidance, and training to Program Operations Managers, the TEAMS Specialist, and other departmental staff regarding accountability requirements, testing procedures, student information systems, and data integrity. Develops and maintains accountability procedures that promote consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned 100% On-site Presence   Physical Demands: Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, handling, climbing, and balancing; ability to drive to off campus locations. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. An equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered in accordance with applicable institutional policy and grant requirements. Student information systems, data management, reporting, and assessment administration. Experience with TEAMS, Anthology. TABE, and GED assessments preferred. Strong computer written. and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of Business English and math Data entry General Office Procedures, phone etiquette and people contact Must be knowledgeable in the skill of effective interpersonal relations to communicate with students, instructors. staff, and the public; provide information concisely and courteously. Must possess the ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain high confidentiality. Must have the ability to meet the needs and concerns of college customers. Must be able to get along with others. work under stress. and follow directions.
