Sales Associate

Our team are now looking for a passionate Sales Associate to join Harrods International at Heathrow Airport.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for providing world class customer service, and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products within the department and increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements.

You’ll also understand and properly execute all systems and POS procedures to ensure prompt and efficient sales transactions and full compliance.
Please note, due to the location of this role, all successful applicants will need to provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check to obtain an airside pass.

Due to the current unprecedented demand on the Airport ID unit, new airside pass applications are currently taking approximately 5 months from point of application. Further details regarding timeframes will be provided at interview stage.

About You

With a background in customer service within retail, our expectations, standards and pace will stretch and develop you. We’re a friendly team that works together and shares the pressures, but don’t under-estimate the challenges. Ours is a fast-paced environment and you’ll need:

• Previous experience in retail.
• A genuine interest and passion for Harrods.
• Self-motivated to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge.
• An out of the box thinking mentality, to surprise and delight customers with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A strong ability to work within a team.
• Great organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly.
• Ability to work morning and evening shifts as well as weekends.
