VP – Target Process Application Engineer - Apptio/IBM

Job Description

Required Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in application engineering / software development
• Strong experience with:
  • Apptio / IBM TargetProcess (highly preferred or similar agile planning tools)
  • Application architecture and integration
  • Agile / SAFe environments
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or related)

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
• Exposure to AI/automation initiatives within enterprise platforms
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs

Recruiter Notes (for sourcing)

• Target profiles:
  • TargetProcess Engineers / Architects
  • Agile tooling engineers (Jira Align, Rally, etc. as adjacent experience)
  • Platform engineers supporting enterprise planning tools
• Must be comfortable in a hands-on + stakeholder-facing VP-level role
• Emphasis on configuration + integration, not just admin-level experience
