A well-established, independent private hearing healthcare practice in the Lake Orion, MI area is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist to join its clinical team. This is a confidential search being conducted by a third party on behalf of the practice.

Position Summary

This role is based in the Lake Orion office and is primarily part-time, with 25–30 hours per week ideal (20+ hours considered). Due to seasonal volume, the practice is open to immediate starts and offers exceptional scheduling flexibility.  

The incoming provider will function with a high level of clinical autonomy. Once established, this will be a solo-provider setting with full administrative support. Ownership may occasionally be onsite but is seeking to transition day-to-day clinical responsibilities to this role in order to focus on practice growth.


Clinical Scope
  • Adult patient population only  
  • Routine diagnostic evaluations  
  • Hearing aid consultations, fittings, and follow-up care  
  • No pediatrics and no specialty testing  
  • Approximately 60% third-party managed care  
  • Patient-first care model with awareness of productivity and retail performance

Schedule & Work-Life Balance  
  • Part-time: 20–30 hours per week

  • 3-day work weeks available
