Rebound is hiring two full-time Medical Assistants to join our Orthopedics team, with:

  • 1 position based in Lake Oswego
  • 1 position based in Rose Quarter

Both locations offer free parking for employees. Our Rose Quarter clinic features free covered parking in an on-site garage and is conveniently located near MAX lines and multiple bus stops, making for an easy commute whether you drive or use public transportation.

About the Role

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, energy, and a can-do attitude, along with a desire to learn and collaborate as part of a team. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work closely with both patients and providers in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with chart documentation
  • Take vital signs and support patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Prepare exam rooms and instruments; stock supplies as needed
  • Assist physicians and APPs with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Review appointment schedules and assist the call center with physician schedules
  • Ensure lab reports, imaging, and other clinical information are available to providers
  • Distribute outpatient materials and provide patient instruction as appropriate
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of work experience, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional patient care
