MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

 

LOCATION:                 LAKE PARK, GA.

REPORTS TO:             MAINTENANCE MANAGER

 

About the Opportunity: 

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Electrician responsible for performing highly diversified duties including, install, maintain and repair of electrical systems. At this level, the individual must be able to operate unsupervised, be able to diagnose and make recommendation to the Maintenance Manager for overall operational productivity and provide electrical expertise for all building, storage, and packaging/processing facilities.

What you will need:

  • Five to ten years’ proven experience in high level maintenance environments is required.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, sketches, equipment manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications in-order to follow electrical code.
  • Installs power wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as motors, conveyors, and programmable controllers, etc.
  • Must be skilled in all manner of hand and power tools, voltage/electronic testers, diagnostic and other equipment.
  • Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
  • Skilled at examining form and texture of parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Ability to fabricate repair parts, wiring and components, by using machine shop equipment.
  • Able to utilize various hardware/software formats not only for day to day operation, but also able to gain a quick understanding of technology as it pertains to production and processing equipment.
  • Skilled at operating in a collaborative manner with a team attitude, while executing sound judgement and professionalism with operations and maintenance teams.
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and operate under stressful situations while keeping a cool head and focus on overall goals and objectives.
  • Able to maintain Grimmway Produce Group confidential and proprietary information.
  • Must operate with the highest ethics and integrity at all-times.
  • Remote work not available for this position.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally both local and out of the area depending on business need.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company insurance and DMV requirements.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor or AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is a strong plus.

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
