We value our employees and offer a competitive benefits package, including: Competitive pay Medical insurance 100% employer-paid dental insurance 100% employer-paid vision insurance 100% employer-paid life insurance 100% employer-paid long-term disability insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off and paid holidays Year-round, stable employment Opportunities for training and professional development Friendly, team-oriented work environment Beautiful lakeside setting with a variety of work every day What You'll Do As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you'll help maintain the clubhouse and surrounding facilities by: Performing general building maintenance and repairs Maintaining and repairing plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, ventilation systems, and building structures Painting and repairing doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, drywall, tile, brick, and grout Performing preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment Maintaining air conditioning systems, refrigerators, ice machines, pool pumps, and related equipment Monitoring pool filtration and chlorination systems, testing pool water, and maintaining required health department logs Repairing small motors and equipment Assisting with facility setup and support for club events Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Working with the Facilities Manager on special projects and other assigned duties Qualifications High school diploma or GED required One year of maintenance experience in a commercial, institutional, hospitality, or similar environment preferred Vocational or technical training in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or a related trade is a plus General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs Experience using power and hand tools safely Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be authorized to work in the United States Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to safely operate tools and equipment while performing physical maintenance tasks. Schedule This is a full-time position. Work hours are generally daytime, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support club operations and special events. Physical Demands and Environment • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. • Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling. • Frequent repetitive motions. • Continuous standing and walking. Hours and Attendance • Varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, and holidays. • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Team members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
