We are a prominent mid-size law firm seeking a Transactional Paralegal to join our growing Corporate and Real Estate Transactions practice in our Lake Success office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is interested in working on sophisticated commercial real estate, financing, lending, acquisition, and sale transactions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Experience is welcomed, but we are willing to train a bright, organized, and eager-to-learn candidate.



Work Environment

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing transactional practice supporting bank financing, commercial real estate, lending, and acquisition/sale transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys and have the opportunity to develop skills in a sophisticated and expanding practice area.



Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting attorneys on various transactional matters.


Real estate transactional experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is intelligent, resourceful, and willing to learn.



Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with commercial real estate, financing, lending, acquisition, and sale transactions from inception through closing.
  • Draft, prepare, review, and organize transactional documents and closing materials.
  • Prepare signature packages and coordinate document execution and collection.
  • Manage due diligence reviews, including corporate, real estate, and financing-related documentation.
  • Track transaction timelines, critical dates, deliverables, and closing requirements.
  • Order, review, and summarize title reports, surveys, and related real estate documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical transaction files.
  • Prepare closing binders and post-closing documentation.
  • Assist with UCC filings, corporate filings, and entity formation documents.
  • Conduct factual and document research as needed to support transactional matters.
  • Review and process invoices related to transactions and maintain transaction records.
  • Assist attorneys with billing, timekeeping, pre-bill review, and administrative support as needed.
  • Support special projects and perform other assignments as directed by attorneys and department management.



Qualifications

  • Paralegal experience preferred; transactional, real estate, corporate, banking, or finance experience is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions, lending transactions, acquisitions, or corporate matters is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management software.
  • Experience with attorney billing and timekeeping software is a plus.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.

Salary $60,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
