Job Description:

The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.

The home store for this position is based at ā€œ8630 Lake Worth Rd Lake Worth, Florida 33467 ā€

What You'll Do:

Ā· Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.

Ā· Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.

Ā· Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.

Ā· Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle

Ā· Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.

Ā· Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.

Ā· Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.

Ā· Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trades

What We're Looking For:

Ā· Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred

Ā· Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred

Ā· Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred

Ā· 4+ years work experience preferred

Ā· Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants

Ā· Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus

Ā· General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus

Ā· Maintenance or repair certifications a plus

Ā· Basic Microsoft office knowledge

  • Ensures each repair is performed at a high level of qualityĀ  minimizing repeat issues and with optimal customer service.
  • Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
  • Maintain tools and parts inventory on theĀ service vehicle following RaceTrac’s policies and procesures
  • Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
  • Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
  • Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trade
  • Follow all RaceTrac Safety policies and guidelines
  • Ability to lift 50Ibs or more on a regular basis

Physical Expectations: (refers to the specific demands a job places on an employee's body, such as lifting requirements, prolonged standing or walking, and manual dexterity)

  • Lifting/Carrying: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds.
  • Push/Pull: Ability to push/pull with up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
