Lynd Management Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a multifamily property. This position oversees the maintenance team, service requests, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, inspections, vendor work, inventory, and safety.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property’s maintenance team.
- Assign and prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
- Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
- Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems regularly.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other property systems.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service records, inspection logs, and equipment documentation.
- Manage the maintenance team’s on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors and monitor the quality of completed work.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, dumpsters, and work areas clean, organized, and secure.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices.
- Communicate maintenance concerns, major repairs, and project updates to the Property Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
- Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
- EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
- Certified Pool Operator certification required.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and pool maintenance.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
- Strong leadership, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Trade school or relevant military technical training is a plus.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
Work Environment and Schedule
This is a full-time, physically active position that may involve standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, safely operating tools, and working indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
The Maintenance Supervisor must participate in the on-call rotation and be available for after-hours emergencies based on business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities.
