Job DetailsJob Location: FLA-Lakeland Corps - Lakeland, FL 33802Position Type: Full Time RegularEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDSalary Range: $14.00 - $15.50 HourlyJob Category: Child CareSchedule/Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours week This position is responsible for: Provides childcare services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and developmental activities and specialized programs; plans, develops activities; prepares and maintains records, maintains cleanliness and orderliness of property. Key Responsibilities: Provides constant care for the needs of children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Develops and implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific. Provides opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through inside and outside learning activities. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to lift, hold, and carry toddlers on a regular basis. Duties are performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis. Work is performed in a normal child care environment where there are little to no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Must be cleared by Local Law Enforcement, State of Florida Dept of Children and Families and FBI background screens LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid State of Florida Driver's License and safe driving record. C.P.R. and First Aid Certification Mandated annual 45-hours of job-related training. *This position requires a level 2 background screening.
