This position is a key role in our collision center, combining technical estimating expertise with a strong focus on customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies, and guiding customers through the repair process from start to finish. QualificationsKey Responsibilities Estimating & Repair Planning Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage Prepare accurate repair estimates using CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar systems Identify all required parts, labor, and repair procedures Submit and manage supplements throughout the repair process Collaborate with technicians to ensure proper repair planning Customer Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for customers Explain estimates, timelines, and insurance processes clearly Provide consistent status updates and manage expectations Handle vehicle intake, documentation, and delivery Insurance Coordination Communicate with insurance adjusters Negotiate approvals and supplements Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and insurance standards Operational Support Maintain accurate and organized repair files Support cycle time goals and shop efficiency Follow all company policies and safety procedures Qualifications Experience as a Collision Estimator, Body Shop Advisor, or similar role Experience with CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex preferred Strong understanding of collision repair and insurance processes Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record What We Offer Competitive compensation (salary + commission/bonus structure) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Growth opportunities within a multi-location automotive group Additional Requirements Background check and drug screening required Clean MVR required Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug-Free Workplace Preferred Qualifications High-volume collision center experience strongly preferred I-CAR certification is a plus
