-   As an industrial electrician, you will work safely, in accordance with relevant codes and standards to ensure manufacturing equipment is operating reliably. Work hours: 7:00am – 5:30pm, 4 days per week, rotating. One week – Monday – Thursday and the next week Tuesday – Friday. On-call on a rotating basis about 4-6 weeks from Tuesday morning to the following Tuesday morning.

ACTIVITIES
- Â Â Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, calibrates and tests electrical apparatus, components, equipment and machinery.
- Â Â Makes periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all metering control instruments, diagnosing existing or potential trouble; cleans, lubricates, calibrates and adjusts as conditions indicate.
- Â Â Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and specifications in making installations or performing major repair work.
- Â Â Cooperates with and assists other team members; follow directions; completes work timely and in a professional manor.
- Â Â Maintain compliance with current codes.Â
- Â Â Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Â Â Other duties, as assigned.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Â Â Working environment is in a chemical facility. Must be comfortable with outdoor working conditions, routinely exposed to the elements. Frequent walking in a large production facility.Â
- Â Â Must be able to safely perform all the duties of the job.
- Â Â Must be able to pass a post-offer/pre-placement drug screen, background check, job-related physical abilities and pulmonary function test. (Must also follow facial hair guidelines.)

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Â Â High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required. (Will consider 10+ years of experience, in lieu.)
-   Vocational training or education, preferred. Journeyman’s license is a plus.
- Â Â 3+ years general industrial electrical and motor control experience, required. (Will consider 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, in lieu.)
