THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANTEssential Functions
路 Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage.
路 Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required.
路 Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.
路 Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
路 Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient鈥檚 medical records
路 Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician鈥檚 office.
路 Assists the physician with medical office procedures.
路 Maintain the integrity of the office.
Requirements
LPN Specialist requirements are:
Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment
Additional Qualification: 1 Year experience in primary care setting. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
