Job Summary:
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, Develop and implement concrete repair and maintenance schedules for industrial facilities.
- Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and labor projects for concrete repair, demolition, and installation projects to support budgeting and planning.Â
- Supervise and manage concrete crews and subcontractors ensuring safe and efficient execution of demolition, formwork, placement, finishing, and curing activities.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve construction-related issues and problems.
- Monitor ongoing concrete work and maintenance projects, identifying risks such as material defects, curing problems, or environmental impacts.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes.
- Close out projects upon completion.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Â
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management with concrete experience.
- Experience with construction project management software.

Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
- This position is safety sensitive in nature, which means employees perform duties so fraught with risks of injury to self or others, or environmental injury, that even a momentary lapse of concentration or attention can have disastrous consequences.
- The working environment is often in harsh elements (hot/humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.) Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety-sensitive hazards/risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.Â
