You will monitor entrances, support routine patrols, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and communicate clearly with site leaders to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, carriers and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements and visitor management processes at an industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at gates, lobby and/or receiving areas by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and vendor logs and verifying appointments and work authorizations.
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV and alarm notifications, and report irregular activity, damaged barriers and/or unsecured doors to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing required reports in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
