JOB SUMMARY: We are currently hiringa Diesel Technician IVwho will be responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on our trucks, which include equipment by Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliners. This includes all general and complex repairs.Â

JOB DESCRIPTION:Â Â
Key Responsibilities Â
Performing scheduled and non-routine repairs to company/contractor fleet to meet DOT standardsÂ
Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repairÂ
Suspension and steering systems diagnostics and repairÂ
Air and hydraulic braking systems diagnostics and repairÂ
Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repairÂ
Preventable Maintenance repairsÂ
Changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machineryÂ
Maintaining a clean and neat shopÂ
Additional duties and responsibilities as assignedÂ

QUALIFICATIONS:Â Â
Minimum QualificationsÂ
Basic Tool set for job functionsÂ
1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experienceÂ
Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software. Â
Basic computer skills requiredÂ
Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instructionÂ
Valid Class C driver's licenseÂ
Ability to clearly read, write and speak EnglishÂ
Basic math calculationsÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Cummins or Detroit CertificationsÂ
Commercial Inspection CertificationÂ

Climbing ladders, stairs, and platformsÂ
Lifting and carrying up to 50 poundsÂ
Work Experience:Â
10+ years as Diesel TechnicianÂ
