Supervisor Laboratory Technician
The ideal candidate will supervise laboratory shift operations and technicians. Monitor the quality control data obtained through lab analyses of incoming raw materials, process samples and final products (including shipments). Ensure that work follows safety rules, environmental policies, and procedures. Responsible for lab facilities and operations during off hours, weekends, and holidays.
What you’ll do?
Responsible for administering laboratory safety and housekeeping programs along with supervising the operation and maintenance of lab equipment.
Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Â Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.
Supervises calibration and repairs to instruments.
Supervises shift to provide 24 hour quality control operations. Provide quality control feedback to production and shipping units.
What you’ll need:
Diploma: Chemistry preferred
5-8 years of Related Experience required
1-2 years of Supervising Experience preferred
