This role is responsible for managing the front desk operations, answering and directing calls, greeting guests, and supporting administrative functions throughout the community. The Receptionist plays a vital role in upholding the community’s mission of providing caring and compassionate service to all residents, ensuring every interaction reflects kindness, respect, and a genuine commitment to resident well‑being. This position helps create a positive first impression and a safe, supportive environment for those who live and work within the community. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet visitors, residents, and team members, offering helpful and courteous assistance at all times. Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly and efficient manner. Monitor visitor sign-ins and maintain front desk security procedures. Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and mail distribution. Assist residents with simple requests such as calling transportation, locating staff, or navigating the building. Communicate effectively with all departments to support smooth daily operations. Uphold confidentiality and protect resident privacy at all times. Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain tidy, organized, and welcoming. Demonstrate and promote Lake Morton Senior Living’s mission of compassionate, resident‑centered service in all interactions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, or senior living preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Competence with phone systems, email, and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office preferred). Ability to remain calm, patient, and compassionate in all situations, especially when assisting residents. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset.
