Position Overview:

Sutter Health is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our collegial and dedicated team at Sutter Lakeside Outpatient Clinic, located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County. Job Description:

Key Responsibility

聽 Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

聽 Perform routine and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease).

聽 Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and wellness visits.

聽 Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions commonly seen in an ambulatory setting.

聽 Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.

聽 Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence鈥慴ased guidelines.

聽 Manage medication therapy, refills, and adjustments.

Experience

  • Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred

Certification & Licensure

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • DEA registration
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy

Pay Range is $261,996.80 to $376,001.60 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate鈥檚 experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health鈥檚 comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
